This striking specimen features sharply terminated quartz crystals from the Orange River region, renowned for producing world-class quartz varies. The crystal displays dramatic phantom inclusions-ghost-like internal layers formed by earlier stages of growth- in deep reddish-brown tones causes by hematite.
